2010-04-13 : SAVING FOR JOULES
Ruddle Merz has achieved a saving of over £40,000 for prestigious nationwide family clothing brand Joules.
Joules specialises in modern lifestyle clothing with a stylish twist. Last year they increased sales by 61% and staff by 65% as well. The company now boasts 35 stores, online and mail order services and distributes via a number of prestigious stockists in the UK and Internationally.
The saving, on their 15,000 square foot HQ in Market Harborough, was negotiated by Nick Sercombe, Director of Surveying Services at Ruddle Merz. After submitting a formal proposal to the Valuation Office, a reduction in Rateable Value from £126,000 to £90,000 was secured.
Joules has been a client of Ruddle Merz since 2008. Thanks to the outstanding saving that has been achieved, Joules has re-instructed Ruddle Merz to handle all 2010 Rating List matters on their behalf.
