MATERIAL CHANGE OF CIRCUMSTANCE (MCC)
MCC savings can be applied for when factors beyond a company's control affect its trade or turnover, whether temporary or permanent.
Usual examples include nearby roadworks, building work (including work to a company's own premises), noise and dust pollution from any source, new retail premises or shopping centres in the area, or even an unplanned exceptional event which leads to lost trade (for example severe flooding).
