Ruddle Merz currently acts on behalf of more than 20 power stations, water companies, and numerous other utility companies through-out the UK. Our savings for these clients amount to more than £20 million, with one client enjoying savings in excess of £10 million in rates payable.
Pat Brennan, our specialist Utility Rating Surveyor and Valuer, was appointed to lead the Utilities Rating Team of the Valuation Office Agency when it was set up in 1996, to advise the Government on the values to be prescribed from 1st April 2000. He led a team of five chartered surveyors responsible for valuing the utility company properties in England and Wales.
